These funds welcome contributions and bequests from alumni,
friends, corporations and foundations.
General Funds
Department of Zoology General Fund*
Serves as the department's "general" account to be used for research
and programs at the discretion of the Chair of the Department
of Zoology.

The John & Virginia Emlen Fund provides
for a visiting lecturer every year.

Lowell E. & Ruth Chase Noland Memorial Fund
Projects and programs supported by this fund includes:
scholarships, fellowships, student prizes, stipends for visiting
lecturers, assistance with research projects, acquisitions for
the Department library, travel grants, teaching awards, etc.

This fund is a general
fund for use at the discretion of the Chair of the Department
of Zoology.

Fellowships , Scholarships, Teaching Awards:
William C. Burns & Lemuel A. Fraser Teacher Enrichment Fund
This fund was established to recognize
outstanding teaching by graduate teaching assitants in zoology. TAs
who demonstrate promise and encourage excellence may be nominated
for this award after two semesters of teaching in the introductory
biology courses.

John T. Emlen Award for Outstanding Graduate Work in Zoology
The fund was established to provide scholarships for outstanding graduate students
in the Zoology Department.

Dr. & Mrs. Carl A. Bunde Fund*
The Dr. and Mrs. Carl A. Bunde Fund was established to
support graduate or undergraduate research assistantships in the
Department of Zoology.

Gary Quick Memorial Scholarship in Zoology
The Gary Quick Memorial Scholarship in Zoology provides annual scholarship
support to a student majoring in Zoology with preference given to a student
studying animal behavior.

Eugene Jorgens Memorial Scholarship Fund
This Fund provides
an annual scholarship for a well-deserving, meritorious sophomore,
junior or senior year student majoring in Zoology in the College
of Letters and Science. Preference should be given to Wisconsin
residents.

Netzer-Brouchoud Scholarship Fund - Zoology
The Netzer-Brouchoud Scholarship
supports the Department of Zoology, specifically for the study
of wild bird life. Selection will be made from students who
are studying wild bird life. Consideration should be given
to need, extra-curricular activities and academic standing.
