Choosing An Advisor
When choosing an advisor, be sure you know what you want. Professors
don't have lots of time to help you decide what area of Zoology you're
interested in (Jaime Reich is probably the best person to help you with
that.) Your first step is to determine what area of Zoology excites you
the most. Is it behavior? Or perhaps physiology? Maybe there
is one particular species that you find fascinating.
Below is a list of the advising professors within the zoology department
and their area of specialty. Choose one that most closely matches
that area which you have the greatest interest in, and then schedule
an appointment to discuss with them your interest in their advising.
The "H" by the name denotes an honors advisor.
This list is also available at the Zoology Office. Just ask!
